Meet The Ministry Team

I was born in Western Sydney and grew up in in a primarily Buddhist household. I was began exploring faith and God when I was a teenager and started to attend the local church. It was there that I learnt about Christianity and discovered a simple faith that filled me with hope and meaning. Church was a safe place for me to ask questions and express my doubts, and it was there that I found a community of people who cared about me without judgment. Jesus changed my life forever. I’ve been married to my wife Mel for over 10 years and we have two kids, 5yo and 2yo, who we love very much, they make us laugh, cry, laugh some more and yell some more but we wouldn’t want it any other way. My favourite meals are KFC and El Jannah and I love going on outings to the city with the family. I look forward to meeting you and answering any questions you might have about faith or the church.

Andoni accepted God’s grace and salvation in 1972. He got baptized in the same year and started serving at the Greek Ashfield Baptist Church under Pastor Michael Glinatsis. In 1981 he attended theology school at the Hellenic Bible Institute in Chicago,USA. He then completed a four-year theology correspondence course through the Moody Institute. Andoni served for 27 years as a Youth Pastor at the Greek Free Evangelical Church. In 2005 he began serving the Greek Baptist Church in Earlwood for a second time under the guidance of the late Reverend Michael Glinatsis. In 2018 he took on a new role providing Pastoral Care and leading our Greek speaking congregation.
