Billy Tang
I was born in Liverpool, NSW and grew up playing video games and attending chinese school on Saturday mornings. I graduated from Sydney Uni and was a school teacher in 2010-13 prior to working amongst university students with Power to Change from 2014-2019. I have a graduate Diploma of Divinity from SMBC and a Masters of Ministry from Morling College. I was also the student pastor at Narwee Baptist for 2 years 2020-2021. I grew up in an atheist/buddhist household, and I gave my life to Jesus when I was in my later years of high school. I married Melissa in 2013 and we have two vibrant and energetic children, Jacob and Bridie, both who take immense enjoyment from frustrating each other. I am passionate about people finding renewed joy and peace in knowing Jesus and being part of his diverse and united community. I have an interest in the sport of boxing and hanging out with the family at the beach.
