Your First Visit

You’re Invited to Earlwood Baptist!

Whether you’ve been going to church forever or it’s all new to you, you’re welcome at Earlwood Baptist. We’re all about discovering who Jesus is and the joy of doing life with him in community.

When you visit, expect a warm welcome and a space full of grace—because that’s exactly what God has shown us through Jesus. We’re not perfect, but we’re a community learning to love like Jesus. Our gatherings are centred on him, so you’ll meet people who are keen to worship, learn, and grow in faith together.

Let’s be real—church isn’t about perfect people. Relationships can be messy, and things won’t always go smoothly. But the amazing thing about Jesus is that he brings us together, not because we share the same interests or backgrounds, but because of who he is. That means we’re learning to forgive, to support one another, and to keep Jesus at the centre of it all. If you’re looking for perfection, you won’t find it here—but you will find hope, grace, and a community shaped by God’s love.

Everyone’s welcome, no matter where you’re at with faith. You don’t need to be a Christian or know anything about the Bible to come along. Our church is made up of people of all ages, from newborns to those who’ve seen nearly a century of life! Jesus spoke in a way that made sense to everyday people, and we want to do the same—so that anyone can explore faith in a way that’s real and meaningful.

What to Expect on a Sunday

When you arrive, you’ll be greeted with a friendly smile. Our service includes time to pray, sing, and hear from the Bible in a way that encourages and challenges us in our faith. We love having kids as part of our church family—during the school term, they join in for the first part of the service before heading upstairs for a fun, age-appropriate program with our trained leaders. Parents are always welcome to check it out too! Once a month, the kids stay in for the whole service.

Our Sunday service runs from 10am to around 11:15am, and afterwards, we stick around for morning tea in the hall. It’s a great chance to meet people and have a chat over a cuppa.

We’d love to meet you—come and say hi!
